Enjoy spectacular views from every corner. From the Menehune pond (build by mischievous little people according to Hawaiian legend), cascading waterfalls, picturesque tunnel of Eucalyptus trees, turtles and sea monks lounging on the golden sun, the volcano crater that gave birth to the Island (now inactive), endless palmtrees, and rainbows, rainbows, rainbows. Kauai is called “The Garden Island”, its lush and abundant with vistas to feast your eyes.
Explore “Hawaiian Queen” Gardens
Learn about Hawaiian culture, and have an opportunity to explore the largest assemblages of native Hawaiian plant species, many of which are threatened, endangered or have disappeared from their native habitats. You will meander along towering rainforest trees with their tall curving roots that grow around bronze mermaids, through to a grove of swaying golden bamboo, exotic plants, more sculptures, water features and tropical fruit trees.
Embodiment
Embodiment describes the mind and body connection, it is a way of living life informed through the sense experience of the body. We will be working with practices based in Somatic and energetic lineages to explore, express and flow with what we find residing within. Iraivan Granite Temple
Participate in a purification ceremony at North America’s largest granite temple, home of a magnificent 700-pound quarts crystal. The temple is located in the valley that was used in Jurassic Park movies (the gates from the first movie are still standing near-by). Some people say this is the location of ancient Lemuria. June in Kauai is glorious. The days are bright, sunny, and warm. Average temperatures of 85°F and lows of 75°F. We are in the first few weeks of June when the days are just beginning to heat-up, this truly is the golden time of summer on Kauai. After June the temperatures begin to rise.
We are staying on a Leeward side of the Island, which is known as being a dry and breezy. We do not expect rain during your Kauai immersion.
We have one airport on the island of Kauai, LIH Lihue Airport. There are many flight options directly to Lihue from most major US destinations, and in the summer from most major Canadian destinations. Flight time from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Vancouver, or San Diego is about 5h40min direct. For other destinations there are many comfortable connections via Los Angeles, Seattle, or Honolulu. If you are connecting via Honolulu, the inter island flight is only 20 minutes.
It is recommended to book your flight to Kauai early, as June is our high season.
You will be picked-up from the LIH Lihue Airport and transferred to your accommodation, which is some 20 minutes drive through gorgeous paradise scenery.
We recommend you have traveler’s insurance.
